We’ve all heard the song, the Disappearance of Miku Hatsune. And according to some people, there is a conspiracy to destroy her completely due to jealousy over her performing at the 2012 London Olympics.

Alright guys, calm your farm! I just want to clear some things up.

First of all, she is NOT performing at the 2012 London Olympics. This is a rumour spawned by the UK/US online poll about who people would love to see perform at the Olypmics. She came number one, which is pretty awesome, but REALISTICALLY, no, it’s not happening. I personally would love to see it, but unfortunately it’s NOT GOING TO HAPPEN. This poll is simply an opinion poll, not one that decides the outcome of who’s going to perform. One also has to factor in the Olympic Committee’s decision, right?

Secondly, yes it is TRUE that some retard has been reporting her videos on Youtube in order to get them deleted. However the culprit is unconfirmed, and unlikely to ever be revealed. Also, for your information, whoever said that stuff about Kpop singers being jealous of being usurped by a vocal synthesiser in an online opinion poll… COME ON. Seriously? SERIOUSLY? How immature do you think those Kpop stars are?

Finally, it doesn’t matter how many people try to delete her off Youtube. There will ALWAYS be a person who reuploads them. You’ve forgotten that the majority of these videos come from the Japanese video sharing site Nico Nico Douga. As well, trying to delete Miku Hatsune off the Internet is like trying to delete any one of the major religions. IMPOSSIBLE. As long as there are fans, the videos will always be reuploaded. Yes it’s annoying for the uploader but faith and conviction always win out in the end.

So what was the point of this post? Number 1. Get your facts straight, much of the Anti-anti Miku propaganda is degrading to other musicians and so on. Number 2, stop panicking!! Be calm. If there’s an idiot who’s trying to delete her videos, reupload. Fight back this way. Liking a page that gives false info (publicity scare campaign much?) is not going to help.

So I hope that clears things up! Every page related to anime that I’ve liked has gone nuts over this and it’s driving me nuts having to explain the same thing over and over again.
